The Joe’s Pond Bridge

Off US 2 in West Danville at SR15.
Over Joe's Pond.
The Joe's Pond covered foot-bridge.
US 2 west to West Danville, Vermont to the jct. with SR 15. The bridge is just before the junction on the left side of the highway, over Joes Pond outlet at the public parking area. The footbridge rests on the old abutments of the Upper Falls Covered Bridge that carried US 2 over Joes Brook prior to the construction of a new iron bypass bridge in 1936.
